Meal replacement shake

posted May 19, 2014 19:01:14 by LDub100
I'm going to be driving for ups soon and I'll be on the go non stop. I was thinking while at work I could have one big meal during my break and a couple shakes throughout the day. So I was thinking 2 scoops of protein with maybe grinned oats if I can fit enough without getting too mushy, or a carb powder like waxy maize. The question is for the fats, I was thinking of using MCT oil since its cheap and MCTs are the reason we use coconut oil. Since coconut oil is a solid would it be good to have MCT oil in 2 shakes? Or should I use a more "food" like oil like olive oil. I'm trying to bulk so the MCT thing threw me off because its advertised to increase calorie burning and all that for people dieting

Macadamia nut oil is superior oil in terms of healthy fats and taste. Species nutrition sells it. You can even cook with it, without destroying the health benefits of it. With olive oil you can't do that

I dont know if i'll be able to eat the nuts while driving the truck since I'll be driving a standard delivery truck. So liquid is preferred until I get in the groove of the job. You think Mac oil would be a better choice than pure mct oil?

I have oat/whey shakes every day (really helpful when traveling). Usually just had a handful of nuts or peanut butter. I'm going to try Mac oil.
