I got my best results in terms of arms by doing MAX 12 sets for triceps, and biceps. Hitting failure, but doing each arm at a time. Much better contractions, and mind muscle connection.
For lats, you need to row a lot, and you can do pull ups, or pulldowns. I see many guys trying to go too heavy. They primary pull with the biceps instead of isolating the lats as much as possible. It took me some time to learn to isolate my lats, but it's really important. Otherwise your biceps will dominate the exercise. When you fail to do the last rep, your biceps will be smoked, but your lats didnt really get trained.
