training abs

Im on a recomp diet for about 2.5 months so far so have been earring very clean. I was thinking my abs would be showing by now bug they are still pretty shallow. I have been doing 2 sets of 25-30 leg lifts, 2 sets of 10-15 side crunches each side and 2 sets of 25-30 crunches. Should I be doing crunches with medicine ball or something with a little weight to help start bringing my abs out, I can feel the definition or cuts between them but they don't seem to be growing Luke they should. Any suggestions
